Louis was awarded one of the Jerwood Makers Prizes by the Jerwood Foundation in 2012 to complete new works

This first piece comprised of large scale blown glass components filled with water and exhibited at the Jerwood Space, London

This piece subsequently went on to be exhibited at Oriel Mostyn Gallery, Wales and the Shipley Museum in Gateshead

The second piece produced foe the Jerwood Makers Prize. This piece had a specially designed plinth that housed UV lighting

The piece consisted of large blown glass cylinders around 75cm tall that were distorted and filled with distilled water

The blown glass cylinders were then filled with inclusions made from uranium glass that glow under UV light
