Sir John Soane's Museum
This installation was comprised of 8 thinly blown glass forms with a guilded gold image etched on the underside of each object. The piece was inspired originally by Jean Simeon Chardin's painting Soap Bubbles. The glass pieces replaced dried thistles that the museum uses to prevent visitors sitting on the chairs housed in the collection.
